Almond cookies
These are excellent and so easy to make
[size=12.8000001907349px] 2 cups and 1/3 cup of almond ( grind the whole almond in the food processor for about 30 seconds)
[size=12.8000001907349px] 1 cup powdered sugar
[size=12.8000001907349px] 2 Tbsp butter
[size=12.8000001907349px] 1 egg
[size=12.8000001907349px] 1 tea spoon of orange blossom water or rose water
[size=12.8000001907349px] 3-4 drops of pink icing color
[size=12.8000001907349px] About 20 pieces Whole Almond
[size=12.8000001907349px] powdered sugar for decoration
[size=12.8000001907349px]Preheat oven (356 f degrees)
[size=12.8000001907349px] In a bowl, mix the sugar with the Almond meal, Add the egg, softened butter, the orange blossom water and the drops of pink icing color,
[size=12.8000001907349px] Mix with a spoon or your hand until well incorporated. The dough will be sticky.
[size=12.8000001907349px] Make small balls of the size of a large grape or walnut...
[size=12.8000001907349px] and roll them in the powdered sugar
[size=12.8000001907349px] put the balls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet ( or a non stick baking mat
[size=12.8000001907349px] Put in its center a whole almond
[size=12.8000001907349px] Bake for about 15 minutes, ( they will be still soft)
[size=12.8000001907349px] Let cool completely then remove from the parchemin paper
